NEW DELHI: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday arrested Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Deepak Singla in connection with an alleged money laundering case linked to a bank loan fraud. According to agency sources, the arrest followed raids conducted by the central agency at multiple locations in Delhi and Goa, where officials allegedly recovered incriminating documents during the searches.

Singla, who had contested the Delhi Assembly elections from the Vishwas Nagar constituency on an AAP ticket, was earlier questioned and raided by the ED in 2024 in connection with the same probe. Agency sources said the money laundering investigation is linked to alleged irregularities involving bank loans and financial transactions. Further investigation in the case is underway.
