Ramandeep Kaur works as a policy researcher who focuses on legislative processes and also excels at data-driven insights and handles multiple projects. She now studies for Post Grad programme in International Law and Diplomacy at the Indian Society of International Law in Delhi. She also has a Master's degree in Development Studies from Ambedkar University, Delhi where her thesis explored the role of photojournalism in social movements worldwide. She has worked in parliamentary research, advocacy, and media production. She also took on key roles as a Rajya Sabha intern and research assistant at Silicon Route India, floor manager at BBC News and production assistant at NDTV India. She likes to study gender development, environmental policy and how technology & law work together. During the COVID-19 crisis, she led efforts to help 600 migrant workers cross borders, this work got national attention and media coverage.
